Application Specialist

Job Description

If you want to work with unique research imaging products, to build professional relationships with highly specialized, world renowned in vivo imaging centers with a vision and drive to contribute to the establishment of a market leading presence of Mediso Ltd.’s competitive, high-end preclinical and translational in vivo imaging portfolio in US and Canada, this is the right opportunity for you.

Responsibilities and Duties briefly

  • Effectively educate customers to operate Mediso pre-clinical and research equipment proficiently and safely, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical, application support and troubleshooting for the users as part of the first level service team.
  • Create and maintain current application and marketing materials, including application notes, imaging protocols, internal and external training materials, application slides, and further documentation supporting sales.
  • Plan and organize users’ meetings and workshops in the scope of marketing and promotion of our technologies and products, actively participate conferences, trade shows…..
  • Bachelor’s degree – scientific or engineering discipline.
  • 1-3 years in vivo imaging experience; expert in use, troubleshooting and in vivo applications across multiple imaging modalities, ideally including PET, SPECT, CT and MRI.
  • Knowledge:
    • Strong working knowledge of imaging technologies and planning, implementation, and execution, analysis and reporting of in vivo imaging studies.
    • Highly proficient with PET/SPECT/CT/MRI in vivo imaging procedures including operation of imaging equipment and applications software on at least one of Mediso or other systems and willingness to learn to operate others.
    • Ability to learn user interfaces / software packages and work with networking systems
    • Independently perform image data analysis pertaining to one or more imaging protocols or modalities. This includes manual definition of regions of interest and generation of tabular data.
    • Good knowledge of AAALAC, USDA and GLP regulations and preclinical testing facility operations and procedures.
    • Understand the maintenance and calibration of the imaging systems, processing workstations and other related equipment and software as well as data management and storage.
    • The candidate has eligibility to legally work in the United States. Mediso USA participates in the E-Verify program of USCIS.
    • Valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
    • Valid passport is required.
    • This position may require overtime, weekend, holiday and/or afterhours shift coverage, as needed.
    • Ability to travel extensively, up to 75% of time and to travel internationally when required.

Requirements
